Our purpose is to promote and nurture technological innovation within finance and technology (Fintech) and improve and simplify how business is done in all aspects of life.
Reykjavik Fintech is a community of businesses and people who support and spur creation of value, competition and ultimately an improved quality of life.
We run various projects alongside operating the main offices for members as well as an open working space located at Köllunarklettsvegur 1 in Reykjavík.
HOW WE OPERATE
Reykjavik Fintech brings together companies, investors, banks and startups - relevant players from all levels of experience by arranging networking conventions, launching events and conferences - all to breed innovation and maximise the potential of rewarding partnerships to make a lasting impact in everyday lives of people and businesses. We also cultivate connections to the international Fintech scene - other clusters as well as companies and investors.
Together, members create an ecosystem where everyone benefits by learning, developing and connecting. Reykjavik Fintech is not a platform for collaboration that hinders healthy competition.
MEMBERS
The members and what they make possible are at the heart of Reykjavik Fintech - both creating and taking part in the major Fintech developments in Iceland and around the North Atlantic with the aim to find the most attractive collaboration opportunities at the right time.
THE INNOVATION CENTRE
The innovation centre is the heart of Reykjavik Fintech. Here, young companies and parties offering support, facilitation and mentorship break new ground and contribute to the growth of the network as well as bringing new solutions to market. Our innovation centre is operated in collaboration with Regus and our headquarters are at Köllunarklettsvegur 1, but there are offices around the Reykjavík area. Our companies can also use offices on their travels around the world in the Regus network.
